If you have ever wondered how many MINI's can fit onto a Red Funnel ferry, your question was answered this weekend!
Snows MINI prepared for what was an epic sail along the Southern sea in true MINI style. All types of drivers and their families came along with their stunning cars to take part in a very different sort of outing. We were very excited to see the whole MINI family turn up for the sail to the Island, knowing this would not be your every day 'family' car ride.
The event started at 10:30am when the anchor was lifted at Southampton and all passengers and their cars set sail for the road ahead. Once the Red Funnel ferry reached East Cowes on the Isle of Wight, all visitors got to have an Island drive-out with time to choose their own MINI Isle of Wight Adventure or even be daring and create their own route to explore.
Next it was time for everyone to reform for the driver meet up at the gorgeous location, Compton Farm. This truly was the perfect setting in the Summer sun for all the MINI's to park up and showcase the range of ages. We saw the whole MINI spectrum, from total vintage classics to brand new designs. At Compton Farm there was also a Show & Shine (with awards and great prizes), delicious food, beer garden, entertainment and more!
For everyone who took part in this 'Mini road-trip', the event was a special opportunity for all MINI drivers to discuss, discover and marvel the beautiful creations that the MINI brand has produced over the years. The love for these cars was transparent, with smiles and cheers filling the whole atmosphere of the island. Snows MINI hope to take part in many more momentous occasions like this,
