Kia’s latest design direction helps its cars to stand out in a crowded vehicle segment. The Cee’d carries Kia hallmarks of the ‘tiger nose’ front grille and streamlined silhouette but with some new additions. The front and rear bumpers have been reshaped, and the rear holds an LED light cluster. For a sportier, more dynamic look and feel, the GT line model of the C’eed offers a dedicated exterior styling with side sill mouldings and red brake calipers.
On the inside a driver-oriented arrangement is found. To create an intuitive environment the manufacturer has simplified the dashboard and placed infotainment controls on the steering wheel itself. Family motorists will be pleased by the durability of the materials in the front and back, with new upholstery and trim included. Just as before the rear bench is 60:40 split folding to bring welcome flexibility to the inside. Red stitching compliments the sporty look and feel of the GT-line c’eed, with part leather upholstery and a speed and multifunction LCD display giving further appeal.
Across six specification grades is an abundance of audio and
communications technology. Even entry-level ‘1’ offers you a Bluetooth®
interface with voice recognition and music streaming. USB and auxiliary
ports for connecting an external device are added to every iteration.
From the middle of the range upwards (including the GT-line) the cee’d
gains seven-inch touchscreen satellite navigation plus Kia Connected
