New Kia Soul
With a new style and improved driving dynamics, comfort and refinement, experience the new Kia Soul at Snows Basingstoke from mid-April.
Since the launch of the original Soul in 2008, Kia has offered drivers a car with character, abundant quality, and a unique charm that cannot be found in any other crossover. Exceeding expectations, the introduction of the second-generation Soul reaffirms the brands' cutting-edge design and innovative automotive niche.
Keeping its recognisable 'boxy' exterior, the Kia Soul maximises on bold styling for a truly unique road presence. Boasting a more sophisticated exterior to its predecessor, the fog lights now sit lower on the front bumper, meeting the bottom-corners of the newly interpreted 'tiger-grille'. A wide of range of colours and exterior options are available to customise your Soul, including two-tone colour schemes and a panoramic glass roof.

The vibrancy of the exterior ends as you enter the cabin to experience a perfectly refined interior ambience. Optional heated and ventilated front seats give additional luxury to the already plush and supportive seating, and improved visibility also lends to an airy, spacious cabin. The dashboard has been redesigned, with modern switchgear and deep-set TFT dials. An eight-inch infotainment system offers intuitive controls, and the DAB digital radio (fitted as standard) can be enhanced with the infinity sound system.
Two engine options are available – 1.6-litre versions of both a petrol and a diesel. The latter provides 126bhp which will accelerate to 62mph in 11.2 seconds with a top speed of 112mph. A combined cycle will give 56mpg and CO2 emissions of 125g/km. This front-wheel drive comes with a choice between a manual or automatic six-speed transmission. The Kia Flex Steer system allows the driver to switch between three driving modes – Sport, Normal and Comfort – for a dynamic driving experience that suits the journey taken.

With 66 per-cent ultra-high strength steel bodywork, the Kia Soul offers exceptional torsional rigidity in the event of a collision, while six internal airbags protect passengers in the cabin. Electronic Stability Control, Brake-Assist and Hill-Start Assist all come as standard, while additional safety features such as high-low beam assist, park assist (with parallel and perpendicular parking), lane departure warning system, and rear and front parking sensors can be selected.
