Linda Gillard started working for Snows back in 2003, and since then has continually contributed her fantastic efforts as Sales Manager at our Snows SEAT dealership in Portsmouth. Linda has proved herself to be a valued member of Snows staff, with her drive to succeed and expert knowledge of the business that has led to great progress within the team. With this in mind, it is no wonder that she has achieved 'Sales Manager of the Year' at the highly competitive and prestigious awards.

This year, the Motor Trader Industry Awards saw over 20 categories attend the London Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday 12th July, for an occasion full of awards, prizes and applause. All attendees at the awards came to represent a range of automotive brands and companies from all around the country and celebrate the best practices in the car retailing business. The evening kicked off at 6:30pm with a drinks reception welcoming all the contestants before the main award ceremony, held in this truly historic venue known to frequent esteemed guests over the years from royalty, celebrities and business leaders.

The celebrity host for the evening was award winning TV and radio presenter, Colin Murray who is best known from Match of the Day 2 and his shows on talkSPORT and Radio 5 Live. There was also fantastic entertainment 60's and 70's cover band, Motown Sensation who performed soulful classics to please the crowd.

Motor Trader are known to have hosted their industry awards and gala dinner at Grosvenor House for the last 26 years, where this affair has produced many momentous occasions, exceptional evenings and treasured memories.

There were numerous categories and titles to be won at the ceremony on Wednesday to dedicate all areas of the sector and the job roles that are involved in the ever-growing automotive industry. This included accolades for 'Customer Care', 'Aftersales Excellence', 'Used Car Retailer of the Year', 'Sales Team of the Year' and many more.

Linda Gillard is no doubt a well deserved winner of the title 'Sales Manager of the Year' - what is arguably one of the most sort after and respectable achievements to be awarded. This simply highlights the pivotal role that Linda operates, with the important skills and ambition needed in sales programmes, managing sales figures and excelling in customer satisfaction. Neil McCue, Group Board Director says how he is "Delighted with the result as it is a fantastic recognition to Linda and her efforts while also being a huge dedication to Snows and the Snows SEAT team".

Many congratulations to Linda and her fantastic triumph at these reputable awards, we are proud to have her represent the group and hopefully this is the start of many more worthy wins to come.
