Richard has been in corporate sales within the motor industry for almost twenty years, spending sixteen of those dealing with major leasing companies and account managing large businesses. Having built up his experience and knowledge of the trade, he joined Snows Group two years ago. He now works closely with all the Snows Corporate teams, as well as managing the Motability and Aftersales programmes. The Group provides its employees with a fast-paced environment, and Richard thrives in this atmosphere, helping the company to grow and improve. He enjoys being able to interact with a range of marques, but also the fact that he makes a real difference to people’s lives and their working environment.
Richard’s desire to help others extends beyond the workplace, and he volunteers for Age UK in his spare time. He provides support by fundraising and also visits the elderly in their homes, which he finds particularly rewarding as many of them don’t see anyone for days. Richard is also an active traveller and explorer. He has achieved the Duke of Edinburgh Gold award and has gone on to visit many exotic locations, such as the Maldives, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. He made it to the top of Sigiriya, an ancient palace located on top of a rocky plateau 370m above sea level, which is only accessible by walking single file on tiny ledges. Each person has to have their own guide to reach the top, although Richard wishes he’d had a helicopter to get back down again! One day, he’d love to purchase a Princess yacht, but for now, he says he’s content with keeping his fridge stocked up – with champagne!

Sian joined Snows Leasing in March 2015 with three years of sales experience. New to the motor industry, she has really hit the ground running and is now an integral part of the Snows Leasing team. In fact, she has helped to grow the leasing department each month, and has enjoyed stepping into the responsibilities of the Leasing Manager. Her favourite part of the role is developing a relationship with her clients so that she can ensure that they find the ideal vehicle for their requirements.
Sian has the extra advantage of being able to speak Spanish, one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. She spent two and a half years living in Spain and developing her language skills. In her spare time, Sian likes to keep active by going to the gym and taking her dog for walks. She looks forward to moving into a bigger house and getting married in the future.

Andy has been in the motor industry since he left school over thirty years ago, and has never looked back! He loves that every day brings something new, and built up his experience across a range of marques before joining Snows Group. Now, he enjoys being able to represent Snows to his customers, getting to know all his clients individually in order to ensure that he delivers a service catered to their requirements. Thanks to this fantastic approach, the Lexus Business Centre at Hedge End has grown considerably under his direction; using the basis of such a sophisticated product, he aspires to develop Lexus Hedge End until it’s the number one Lexus Business Centre in the UK.
Andy used to play a lot of sport, partaking in golf, skiing, and cycling before a knee injury put him out of action. He also completed the Three Peaks Challenge! Now, Andy likes to fill his time with his family. He has three daughters and one son, who is currently exploring Asia, as well as three grandchildren. They all keep him busy! He’s exceptionally proud of all of them, and his greatest joy is that they’re all happy and healthy.

Nicola Townsend has a respectable 14 years plus experience in the motor trade and has been working with Commercial Vehicles since 2003. Her previous job roles have included vehicle rental, sales, operations and aftersales. The thing she enjoys most about the motor trade is the changing nature of the industry - fast paced, evolving and supersonic. She also adds, "It is an amazing industry full of passionate people and game changing products."
Nicola is a huge fan of the Mercedes-Benz brand, as she explains: "The brand is phenomenal. Such a quality product and the aftersales back up through Mobilo is a market leader. There are great offers for telematics and aftersales as well, which makes the total package to the consumer outstanding."

Alastair (Ali) has been working at Snows Group for over a decade. He started as a Service Advisor at Snows Toyota Southampton, and after building up his knowledge of the brand and the business, he transferred to Fleet Sales in 2008. He is now the Business Centre Manager, and is pleased that he has helped grow the business considerably, increasing the department and making it more efficient for customers. The most rewarding part of his role is helping clients find solutions to suit them, whether it’s a farmer needing one truck or a businessman in charge of hundreds of vehicles. It’s no wonder that Snows Toyota Southampton Business Centre has won Toyota's Business Centre of the Year award 2015, and has been shortlisted for 2016's award!
When he’s not busy helping clients in the Business Centre, Ali enjoys travelling the world. He and his wife have recently enjoyed trips to exciting locations such as Japan, Morocco and Croatia. He also used to DJ and has released over fifteen singles and remixes! On quieter days, Ali plays a range of sports; football, skiing, squash, and an army-style class at Southampton Common all form part of his interests. He enjoys watching sport too, and is a proud owner of a season ticket for Southampton FC. Ali and his wife are looking forward to hopefully starting a family in 2017.

Sue has built up her experience of the motor industry over almost twenty years. She started at Marshall Rolfe Southampton in 1996, and when Snows Group acquired this dealership in 2002 she stayed on, working in the Toyota franchise. In the same year, she was named Fleet Administrator of the Year at the inaugural awards, and since then was nominated every year the awards were held! Sue enjoys the fact that in the industry, everyone knows everyone. She loves being able to work closely with her customers, many of whom come back time and time again. She firmly believes that the customer comes first, and accordingly she likes to build up her relationships with them to ensure they receive the best service.
Sue likes the family atmosphere at Snows, and has a family of her own at home. She is looking forward to celebrating her 40 th wedding anniversary with her husband in 2016, and together they have two grown up children and four grandchildren with whom they love to go on holiday. When she’s not busy with her own family, Sue kindly co-runs a youth club for 6-12 year olds. She’s also on the management committee of her local church. When not engaged in her community roles, she’s taking the time to learn how to jive with her husband!

Colin has been working in the industry for almost twenty years and has experience of both retail and corporate sales. He’s happy that there’s always something new going on in the motor industry; it means that every day is a potential learning curve! He’s been a Business Development Manager at Snows since 2014, and is pleased to be part of such a continually growing and progressive company.
Colin is a big football fan, and when he’s not delivering great customer service at work he enjoys cheering on his team, Southampton Football Club. He also loves to spend time with his teenage daughter, Rosie. He is incredibly proud of her and calls her his “everything”.

Jo has over ten years of experience with the Toyota marque, giving her a fantastic insight when it comes to finding the right vehicles to suit her customers’ requirements. She began working in the motor industry at Marsh Toyota, which was acquired by Snows Group at the beginning of 2013. Jo now enjoys being part of the friendly atmosphere at the Group, which the Snows family started over half a century ago. She likes being able to work with teams across the company to ensure that her customers are satisfied, and thanks to her dedication, her clients come back time and time again.
When she’s not busy building up the Business Centre, Jo events her horse and enjoys riding across Dartmoor. She’s an avid walker and knows the moors like the back of her hand. Jo has also competed with her dog at Crufts; her Rhodesian Ridgeback, Tor, has achieved Champion Status – no small feat! Before competing with her animals, Jo took part in competitions herself. She skydived for fifteen years, including formation skydiving, achieving silver medals in the British Championships in accuracy. Her love of adrenaline transfers to the motor industry, where her passion for the product means she’s always got the latest information ready to relay to her customers.

Paul has worked in the motor industry for over thirty years, predominantly in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) sector, leaving him with a huge breadth of experience which he uses to provide product knowledge and expert advice to his customers. He’s worked with both small local businesses and larger corporate organisations, and has seen massive changes in technology and safety features to fit the modern needs of motorists. Paul recently returned to Snows Group to promote and enhance LCV sales, noting that the Group has an ethos of “placing the needs of customers above all else”. He now hopes to lead the way with Toyota LCV sales in the UK.
Paul is a huge supporter of Southampton Football Club, owning a season ticket which he makes good use of. He also plays golf and is a proud father to his twelve year old daughter, who he goes fishing with. She keeps him on his toes! He has been married to his wife for twenty years and together the family share their home with a veritable menagerie of two cats, two rabbits, eight fish, and a lizard. The family loves to go on holiday, particularly to Florida. Paul hopes to spend his 50th birthday there and eventually would like to retire in the sunshine, too.

A finalist for Motor Trader Magazine’s Sales Manager of the Year, Richard has over thirty years of managerial experience in the motor trade, having worked with a variety of different brands including BMW and Ferrari. His time in the industry has taught him that nothing beats good customer care, and he says that it’s “refreshing” to be part of Snows Group, whose focus on treating the customer fairly and providing an excellent customer experience is renowned. By developing a trusting relationship with his customers from the outset, Richard ensures that they feel confident to revisit Snows Toyota time and time again.
In his spare time, Richard enjoys both sport and travel with his wife and three sons, who go camping together in Europe… which he says helps to top up the wine cellar! He also spends time in Europe thanks to his position as Travel and Safeguarding Officer for TSW Juniors Octopush (underwater hockey), which all three of his sons play. He referees matches and organises minibuses to take the team across countries to compete. In fact, two of his sons have been selected to play for Great Britain this year, at the world championships in Tasmania. In the future, Richard looks forward to climbing Mount Snowdon, going skiing, and getting behind the wheel of a single seater racing car again.

Phil has been in the motor industry for 28 years, of which 26 have been selling B2B. He has worked with a variety of manufacturers, selling cars and commercials, and he's spent the last 10 years with Toyota. Having started out as a Marine Engineer in the Royal Navy , Phil now enjoys his role as Business Centre Manager at Snows Toyota Waterlooville. He enjoys helping Business customers with their Fleet solutions, and has a particular passion for Hybrid vehicles, with Toyota being the market leader in the Hybrid sector.
Phil has been married for 30 years, and has 3 children and a grandson. He has various personal interests; swimming, cycling and kick boxing, to name a few. Cycling has always been Phil's main hobby and he has completed the London to Brighton Bike Ride a whopping 13 times for charity! Most recently, he has taken up Archery to help him focus after a tough day.

James joined Snows Toyota in December 2015, as a Trainee in his first role within the motor industry. Whilst working as an Assistant Manager at Samson’s Gym he realised he was a great communicator, and he tested this skillset by spending five months as a promotor in Ibiza, working on his interpersonal skills (and his tan). On return, he submitted an application to Snows and was successful – and he’s now well on his way to becoming an expert in fleet solutions. Under the guidance of Ali Rutt, James is building up his product knowledge and developing his own customer database, and is already a valued member of the team in his own right.
Caroline has been in the motor industry her entire working life, with her experience amounting to over twenty years in fleet sales. She worked with a variety of marques before SEAT, building up a knowledge of the industry which now allows her to use her expertise to the best advantage of her customers. She loves the buzz of the trade, saying that no two days are the same. Caroline is proud of the fact that within the last five years, Snows SEAT has consistently been in the top two for corporate sales, demonstrating the dedication and determination of the team to provide a fantastic customer experience.
Caroline was raised as one of five children, which is perhaps why her competitive nature emerges at work: she’s determined to be the best in the business! In her spare time, she enjoys tending her acre of garden (no small task!) and taking her two dogs for walks in the countryside. When she was thirteen she proudly rode at Hickstead, and more recently was treated to carriage driving – a gift from her husband.

Chris has been in the motor industry for over four decades, moving through the ranks to build up his experience. Beginning as an apprentice motor mechanic in 1973, he progressed through servicing roles until he moved across to sales operations in 1989. He has also spent time working across Europe. Chris brings this level of dedication to Snows SEAT, where he wants to continue and amplify the dealership’s performance. Over the years, Chris has enjoyed facing the new challenges that have evolved from novel technologies and innovative thinking – including the widespread introduction of the Internet! He has a great work ethic, and appreciates that at Snows, everyone is heard on an equal footing.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys a range of sports, including cycling and squash. He also loves football, and has experience of both coaching and refereeing. He loves a challenge, which is how he’s survived so long in the motor industry! Chris has three children, all of whom he’s very proud of; his eldest son is a long serving member of the armed forces; his youngest son is following in his footsteps by working as a master technician for SEAT; and his daughter did the honour of making him a Grandfather!

Peter has spent sixteen years in the Motor Industry, initially he started in used car sales before moving on to work for the likes of Audi and Porsche as a Performance Car Specialist.
For the last three years he has been working for Mercedes-Benz in Corporate Sales.
When not at work Peter enjoys a variety of outdoor pursuits including sailing, power-boating and recently he has taken up the noble game of golf. Although in his own words, his golfing attempts could be mistaken for a man attacking grass with a metal stick! Peter’s favourite holiday destinations are the West country, in particular Cornwall with a sailing and water-sports theme or exploring the rivers and canals of France in a motor-boat.
